Home Sales Contract Molly Blue Tink

We do not sell our dogs to Chains, Commercial Breeders or puppy mills, Brokers or Pet Shoppes. Please do not even call.  Old English Sheepdogs are people dogs, they need human contact and play, they can not live in a cage for the rest of their lives, nor will they ever be happy stuck in the back yard, seeing "their people" a few mins. a day . DO NOT MAKE A HASTY DECISION! Be SURE this is the RIGHT TIME FOR YOU!!  Right now these puppies are adorable little fluffy lumps of love. They will grow into LARGE HAIRY DOGS with BIG FEET.   Those beautiful feet love puddles and will bring muddy footprints, leaves, grass and dirt right in with them.  Are you ready for that. ?? Do you have time for OBEDIENCE CLASSES???  Do YOU have  time for brushing and grooming to keep them in  beautiful condition?? Do you have the TIME< LOVE and PATIENCE to help this puppy grow into the wonderful family member they were meant to be?  There will be continuing housetraining, (and accidents)  vet visits,  trips to the groomers,  nose and tongue prints on the windows and doors, Probably a few chewed shoes and assorted items that really weren't meant to be chew toys.  Several nights of crying and whining  when you first bring them home... You will probably find the occasional hair in the butter,   Are you sure you are ready????  If you think you are, come see us and meet them all, you will fall in LOVE.

Don't get upset when I ask you about your home and family life, I need to make sure you understand  the time and work involved  with the care and training of Old English Sheepdogs.  I don't want you to have ANY surprises.. Remember, Obedience training is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

I want to ensure that all my puppies go to the best homes.  Are you SURE you have time in your life for this puppy? ALL PUPPIES ARE PLACED WITH AN  AKC LIMITED  REGISTRATION.  There have been many questions regarding our decision to not have any puppies this year, 2007.  We have been reevaluating a deafness issue .  We would see one deaf puppy occasionally,.   Some years none.  It  felt so random. I  was reluctant to neuter my male., he is such a sweet fellow, just a wonderful temperament. I tried alternate pairings,, different females,  and still saw yet another deaf puppy.    We made our decision at that time and began  setting in motion our plans to try to eliminate the gene.  There is no way , a responsible individual continues  in that line and must face the fact  the gene is really there.  The females would be removed if there was any question . . Radcliffe Emerson,  and Jackson (his son)  have both been neutered. We have also removed several other  females , even though they have not produced a deaf puppy.  Some were distantly related and I did not want to take a chance on passing on a gene , also,  two c-section deliveries with spaying at the time of delivery., removed two other females. So there is the information  straight from the mouth of Melissa.    At  this time, we are taking a year off to regroup. re-evaluate, reconsider,      The most important reason a person breeds a litter is for the BETTERMENT, and enhancement of the breed.  Money is not an issue.  Because you reinvest every cent into your dogs and if you are really lucky, you break even, but unlikely. Health certifications, conformation as well as a wonderful temperament remain,  as always, our today goal.  We will continue to be here for any questions , assistance, help or advice for any of our fur families., or anyone with questions.  We continue to encourage everyone to visit if they want to meet sheepdogs and  we will be considering some herding and agility  in 2007.      .With Deep Love for the Breed, Melissa.              January 2008.   A new beginning for us.
